Tradesala was founded on a simple premise: Indian sellers deserve infrastructure built for their market, not adapted from someone else's. As we scaled our own marketplace, we found ourselves solving the same operational problems every seller faces — GST computation, HSN classification, catalogue imaging, invoicing — again and again.
Rather than to treat these as internal advantages, we made them freely available to every Indian seller, business owner, and internet user. No paywalls. No mandatory sign-ups. No data monetization.
None of this exists without the buyers who choose Tradesala — people who could shop anywhere, but come to us specifically to find genuine, Indian sellers and homegrown brands. That trust is the actual product we protect.
That same principle has since expanded beyond e-commerce — into everyday tools built for professionals and internet users across most industries.
Some things are simply meant to be free — given to the world for its own betterment. Nikola Tesla believed this about energy itself; we believe it about the everyday tools that power modern work.
Why We Built
Tools by Tradesala
We scratched our own itch as e-commerce builders and made a choice to open everything up.
